The craziness in this family continues to puzzle us, with new developments being witnessed with every subsequent visit. The mother, after her return home when her estranged husband died, later ran away, back to her drinking life, leaving her children and the house we had built. And the elder son, Ben, kept pushing for little Rhoda to sleep alone in the house. At thirteen that's so risky, and I smelled a rat in that arrangement. Uncle DD had offered to help pay school fees for the two brothers to join the polytechnic but their mother never bothered to get the admissions. But there's always a way, somehow. God had brought in their uncle who was now willing to help, and we were going to cling on him to help us help the crazy family. Please, remember them in your prayers.
